The designing theme of this home is ‘out of the box’, a design using latest styles and innovative materials out of traditional way of construction.
Having more than one focal point, architect Dennis Jacob has many things to take into account as per the needs of client Ansar Abbas of Aluva and his wife Minsa Ansar. More over the home should be built in a 7 cent plot which is narrowing width backside.
It was the client’s need that two of the four bath attached bedrooms should be in the ground floor. A car porch for large vehicles and an open sit out were other needs. So space management was the important factor in the construction. By keeping comfortable privacy, there is much enough openness inside the home. Double height, sustainability, Open theme, minimalism and many other attractive features are there in designing. Glass is used for both openness and privacy.
Glass walls are used for living area, bedrooms, kitchen and home theatre. Black out Blinds of the glass helps keeping privacy. Greenery of the nature outside can be seen anywhere from the home. Corner windows and natural lights provide a feeling of wideness. The architect made the staircase in the dining a part of interior designing. A wash area is set along with this as well.
Stand Alone Solar System is set for providing electricity. Terrace garden can be seen from inside and the prayer room is much lighted. Railing with toughened glass is used around the terrace.
